THE ISLAND OF SKOPELOS: Skopelos is a part of Sporades Islands, with Alonnisos and Skiathos and the biggest one in size. There is a connection by boat and flying dolphins, to the city of Volos, in Thessaly and to St. Konstantinos to the main land. Skopelos is amongst the greenest areas in the Med with the most quarters of its ground being covered by the Mediterranean pine. It is also one of the best sailing areas in the Aegean, with many protected coves and many islets to get away from it all! Skopelos town is the capital of the island and over-populated. It is situated to the Northeast side of the island, built in an amphitheatric shape, giving the sense of "grape", with houses built close to each other, that maintain their traditional architecture, full of color, light and history. Narrow streets, with bloomed apses and stone steps, lead the visitor, to a travel through time and tradition. That’s why Skopelos town is characterized a Traditional Settlement and worthy maintains her title. Here, tradition meets the modern way of life. To the port of Skopelos, lot of cafes, and restaurants satisfy every taste and when the night come bars, the "rebetico" music and clubs, entertain the visitors.

THE BEACHES: Relax and find the peacefulness, to the beautiful beaches of the island. Leaving city, the first beach and most popular is Stafylos beach. Stafylos bay is protected from the winds and this makes it ideal, for swimming with your children. Beside Stafylos bay is the beach of Velanio with a beach bar. Leaving Stafylos we meet Agnonta beach with fish taverns, Limnonari, Panormos spacious beach, Milia beach with a beach bar. Opposite from Milia bay there is the small island of Dasias ideal for the yachtsmen. We continue to Kastani beach, the beach of Elios, Chobolo, Armenopetra bay and at the north side we meet Glyfoneri or St. Konstantinos bay and Glysteri beach. There are also dozen of small beaches, with access from the sea, for the lucky yachtsmen.
